    This site summarises and links out; it doesn't replace the specialist organisations that research and deliver harm reduction. Below are well-respected, independent resources — use them to go deeper, find local services, and cross-check anything important. Where guidance differs, trust the specialist service and your local provider.

    General harm reduction

    Harm Reduction Coalition US harm-reduction organisation; publishes the "Getting Off Right" safety manual and a service directory. NEXT Distro Mail-based naloxone, sterile supplies, and plain-language safer-use guides (US). Release UK centre of expertise on drugs and drug law — confidential advice and harm-reduction guidance. Crew Scottish harm-reduction charity with clear, drug-specific safety information.

    Drug checking

    Overdose & finding help

    SAMHSA — FindTreatment.gov Free, confidential treatment and service finder (US). Prescribe to Prevent Naloxone access and overdose-response information. NHS — addiction support (UK) UK health-service guidance and routes into support.
    Local services matter most Wherever you are, a local needle & syringe program or drug service can offer free supplies, naloxone, testing, and in-person advice. Searching for one near you is worth more than any website.
