Summary
1,4-BDO is a prodrug for GHB, metabolized by alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH). Individual metabolic variability means two users can respond very differently to the same dose. Onset is slower than GBL, making redosing particularly risky as people often mistakenly believe the first dose was weak.

I donΒt normally feel inclined to write on forums, I read them, make a judgment and act. Heck, often I already know what I want to do, but I read the articles for that one out of thousands that conforms to what I want to do and itΒs settled.
After much trial and error, usually accompanied by an overwhelming sensation of riding a psychedelic tilt-a-whirl, like being too drunk, but a bit more lucid (so you can think about how stupid it was to drink a second helping), I have arrived at 5ml of 1,4B stirred into an 8 oz. glass of citrus juice as the right mix.
I heard about 1,4 while searching for a non prescription sleep aid that did not interfere with the natural stages of sleep. Indirectly I found out that 1,4 was used recreationally and a larger percentage of it activates the natural production of GHB in the body.
I wrote this over a year ago and find it as pertinent as ever: ΒIΒve recently posted on various message boards about 1,4 Butanediol and have come to a disappointing conclusion.

After having heard a little on the radio about the new 'legal' form of GHB floating around the market in Australia I did a little research and was surprised at how easy it was to obtain two litres of 1,4 Butanediol for a very reasonable price.
im telling this story to provide anyone who wants to try 1,4b.it is a highly addictive substance not a toy. i started useing this substance over a 1 1/2 yrs ago. i tried it and loved it no nasty beer breath but with all the effects. so i bought a bunch of it. none for sale all for myself.

Fuck that shit! I'd recommend staying away from it. I've been experiencing difficulties with going to sleep and especially sleeping through the whole night for my whole life. So I bought a bottle, took 4.5ml first day - felt good. Slept good. That's what I bought it for.
