Summary
25CN-NBOH is one of the most 5-HT2A-selective agonists discovered; cyano substitution markedly reduces off-target 5-HT2B and 5-HT2C activity compared to other NBOMe/NBOH compounds. Buccal or sublingual absorption is strongly preferred over oral. Users consistently report pronounced vasoconstriction and mouth numbness.
Dose Information
Dose basis. Ranges are stitched from scattered user reports of NBOH/NBOMe analogues; no clinical dosing exists. Microgram potency means uneven blotter or mismeasured liquid can cause overdoseβuse volumetric dosing and avoid eyeballing. Powder dosing is discouraged due to potency and past poisonings from misrepresentation on the market. Hold for 15β20 minutes to maximize transmucosal absorption; swallowing early lowers and delays effects but does not reliably βdeactivateβ NBOH/NBOMe. Bitter/metallic taste and local numbness are common; spit after holding if GI upset occurs. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track 25CN-NBOH there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 550 Β΅g (Buccal).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
Tolerance
Tolerance Decay
Practical guidance from community reports: tolerance is substantial after one session, halves over ~3β5 days and returns near baseline by 7β14 days; two weeks between strong experiences is a cautious rule of thumb. Crossβtolerance exists across classical psychedelics. Evidence quality is anecdotal.
