Summary
4,4'-DMAR (para-methyl-4-methylaminorex) is a stimulant of the amphetamine class. It acts as a monoamine releasing agent, with pharmacological properties comparable to MDMA. It is extremely potent, estimated at 5-10 times more potent than MDMA as a monoamine releasing agent, and has a longer duration. Unlike many amphetamines, 4,4'-DMAR lacks TAAR1 agonism, meaning it does not auto-inhibit its own effects, potentially making it more dangerous.
