    Disclaimer
โ˜  Nitazene-class opioids are extremely potent, often exceeding fentanyl in strength. Even trace amounts can be fatal. Fentanyl test strips do NOT detect nitazenes โ€” a negative strip does not rule one out. Naloxone works, but often needs repeated doses, and re-sedation can follow once it wears off: call emergency services and stay with the person.
๐Ÿงช This is a research chemical with limited data on its long-term health effects, toxicity profile, and safe dosage ranges.
โš  Opioids carry significant risk of respiratory depression, physical dependence, and fatal overdose. Never combine with other depressants.

    Summary TripSit

A benzimidazole (nitazene-class) opioid, and one of the weakest members of that class rather than one of the strong ones. The frequently quoted "three times morphine" figure is from a 1957 rodent analgesia study; the only human comparison, a 1959 series in non-tolerant former morphine users, found clonitazene roughly one-third to one-fifth as potent as morphine by mouth โ€” about codeine strength. It is a relative of etonitazene, which is far more potent, but that potency does not carry across: within the nitazenes clonitazene sits at the weak end.

    Dose Information TripSit

Dose basis. These figures are not clinical data. They were derived from a morphine dose ladder divided by a 1957 rodent potency figure (~3x morphine). The only human comparison on record points the other way โ€” roughly one-third to one-fifth of morphine, i.e. codeine-strength โ€” so this ladder is likely to understate the amount involved rather than overstate it. Treat every number as unverified, do not stack redoses against it, and note that unregulated nitazene-class material is frequently misrepresented.

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track Clonitazene there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

Works on iOS and Android (v15+); the format is confirmed by the app's developer. The manual values below work for older versions.

Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 7.5 mg (Oral).

The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
