Summary
Fluetizolam (also called Fluetiz) is a thienotriazolodiazepine, a benzodiazepine-class depressant. It is metabolized into ฮฑ-hydroxyetizolam, an active metabolite with similar effects. It is reported to be exceptionally potent โ roughly 6โ10 times stronger than diazepam and 2โ3 times more potent than etizolam โ and this high potency increases the risks of overdose, dependency, and blackouts.
Dose Information
Dose basis. Ranges are compiled primarily from user reports due to lack of clinical dosing standards; start low and use volumetric dosing for sub-milligram accuracy. User reports suggest similar potency to oral with a slightly faster onset; sublingual pellets/solutions are common in the unregulated market. Doses below 1 mg require volumetric dosing to avoid fatal measurement error. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)
| ROA | Light | Common | Strong | Heavy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oral | 0.2mg | 0.3mg | 0.5mg | 1mg |
| Sublingual | 0.2mg | 0.3mg | 0.5mg | 1mg |
Onset, Duration & After-effects
| ROA | Onset | Peak | Offset | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oral | 15-30 min | 30 min | 3-6 hrs | 3.75-7 hrs |
| Sublingual | 15-30 min | 1-3 hrs | 3-6 hrs | 6-12 hrs |

Add to PsychonautWiki Journal
The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track Fluetizolam there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:
Fluetizolam Source: SubstanceSearch (substancesearch.com) Oral dose (mg): threshold 0.1 ยท light 0.2 ยท common 0.3 ยท strong 0.5 ยท heavy 1 Sublingual dose (mg): threshold 0.1 ยท light 0.2 ยท common 0.3 ยท strong 0.5 ยท heavy 1 Oral duration: onset 15-30m ยท peak 30m ยท offset 3-6h ยท total 3.75-7h ยท after-effects 24h Sublingual duration: onset 15-30m ยท peak 1-3h ยท offset 3-6h ยท total 6-12h ยท after-effects 24h Note: ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 0.4 mg (Oral).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
Tolerance
Tolerance Decay
Acute tolerance: develops within a single session โ the reset numbers above apply after sustained heavy use, not after one binge. Within-session tachyphylaxis usually resets largely overnight.
Benzodiazepine tolerance tends to build rapidly to sedative/hypnotic effects, with slower and incomplete reversal after cessation. Figures are heuristic, based on clinical teaching and user reports; individual variability is high. Dependence can occur in weeks; taper medically if used regularly.
