Methocarbamol is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant with sedative properties used for acute musculoskeletal pain. It should be avoided in geriatric patients due to increased fall risk and is contraindicated in myasthenia gravis. The injectable form is contraindicated in renal impairment.
