Summary
A synthetic opioid drug that was rumoured to be roughly 80% the potency of Morphine orally. Was created by Dainippon Pharmaceutical in the 1970's. It has been used as a lead compound for the design of related substances. It has been associated with hearing loss and hair loss. Structurally unrelated to most other opioid drugs. Treat with caution, especially long term use.
