    Nitrazolam is a hypnotic benzodiazepine and central nervous system depressant. It is the triazolo analogue of Nitrazepam and the dechlorinated derivative of Clonazolam. Compared to the parent compound Nitrazepam it is about 4x more potent, while relative to Clonazolam it has roughly 1/10 the potency.
