PRL-8-53 is an old nootropic (first researched in the 1970's) which disappeared and was just re-discovered. I found that measuring out 10mg and mixing with 10cc of water in a syringe makes administration much easier (please note that I did NOT inject myself with this strange chemical, and would not recommend doing so)....

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track PRL-8-53 there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:
PRL-8-53 Source: SubstanceSearch (substancesearch.com) Oral dose (mg): threshold 2-3 ยท light 3-5 ยท common 5-10 ยท strong 10-20 ยท heavy 20+ Oral duration: peak 4-6h ยท after-effects 1-12h Note: ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 7.5 mg (Oral).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.

Smoking PRL I recently bought PRL-8-53. Snorted it, took it orally, but only recently I've decided to smoke it. I have a pen, and I modified it to work as a pipe. I've put about 30mg of this compound in the pen, grabbed a lighter, and then I heated the pipe.
