Summary
JWH-018 is a full CB1 and CB2 agonist with 5-fold higher affinity than THC, eliminating the self-limiting ceiling effect of cannabis. This produces a steep and unforgiving dose-response curve. Unlike THC (a partial agonist), full agonism can cause severe harm including seizures, psychosis, strokes, and cardiac events.

I have a story to tell. ItΒs long and itΒs thorough, but it needs to be told. It has to deal with the most bizarre and terrifying semi-psychotic reaction to any chemical I have yet ingested, and it happened while taking gravity bong hits of the synthetic cannabinoid, JWH-018.

I went to a wedding in Vegas last night and... After the wedding was over a friend of mine asked me to go to the store with him. He informed my GF that we'd be back in like 10 to 15 minutes tops. I figured he just wanted someone along for the ride.
This is long. I tried to provide as much background as possible. If you only want to read about my "bad" trip you can skip down to the emoticon. When I had originally got the JWH-018 it was last Wednesday. I had a friend who will smoke pot with me occasionally coming in from out of town on the weekend.
I'll keep this short, so you don't get bored and skip parts or leave altogether. Self + Location: Male, 17, 175 lbs., Low level of depression, Usually smoke at 11:00PM outside the house, and come back into my room to lay down. HISTORY: High 30ish Times over past two years.
I nabbed me a 3G bag of K2 Summit, basically the Spice Gold replacement. I read good things about it and decided to give it a go to get the curiosity bug out. Trip report starts shortly after 2am. I decided to smoke after I couldn't fall asleep.
disclaimer: I'm going to be posting this report on a few forums and submitting to erowid/lycaeum as well. I didn't see any trip reports describing this severe a reaction before so I really want to just make sure the info is out there.
Synecdoche: JWH -- An apt title, because this report defines how I now view all of the synthetic cannabinoids. The setting is a quiet night at home (midnight-ish), with things planned to do the following dayβsaturday.
Just a little side note, a mod has taken out the exact brand that I smoked from.. All I can say is it's the most expensive type, at about $20 for 3 G's.
