Aliases: 3,4-methylenedioxy-pihp
Summary
MD-PiHP (3,4-methylenedioxy-PiHP) is a synthetic cathinone and pyrrolidine stimulant sold as a research chemical. In vitro transporter panels show it to be a potent DAT/NET blocker with ~10-fold selectivity over SERT, sitting pharmacologically between alpha-PiHP and MDPHP. User reports indicate functional stimulation at 5-15 mg insufflated, but marked vasoconstriction, bruxism and body-load over 40 mg. Vaping the HCl salt is heat-sensitive: freebasing or a very low flame/oil-burner technique is essential to avoid pyrolysis.
Dose Information
Dose basis. Ranges largely derived from user reports; high local vasoconstriction and causticity reported for pyrrolidinophenonesβstart at the very low end, avoid frequent redoses, and saline-rinse before/after to reduce mucosal damage. Oral dosing tends to produce a flatter, longer stimulation tail similar to other pyrrolidinophenones. Begin low and wait fully before redosing due to delayed peaks vs. nasal/vaped. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 20 mg (Insufflated).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
Tolerance
Tolerance Decay
Acute tolerance: develops within a single session β the reset numbers above apply after sustained heavy use, not after one binge. Within-session tachyphylaxis usually resets largely overnight.
Model inferred from binge/abstinence patterns seen with MDPV/MDPHP; exact values are illustrative for planning rest periods, not clinical PK.
