2,5-Dimethoxy-4-methylamphetamine (also known as DOM and STP or "Serenity, Tranquility and Peace") is a lesser-known psychedelic substance of the amphetamine class. DOM is a member of the DOx family of compounds which are known for their high potency, long duration, and mixture of psychedelic and stimulant effects. It produces its effects by acting on serotonin receptors in the brain.

T0:00- I woke up feeling a bit odd from a dissociative binge the day before, a roiling combination of PCP, 3-MeO-PCP and 3-MeO-PCE, consolation for a failed political action earlier in the day. This has mostly worn off by the time we dose though. We decide weยre all going to go out on an adventure.

The trip out West really congealed the insights, visions, and love from my ibogaine treatment into the person I am now.
I had been fairly certain ever since I got to Burning Man that I would save the DOM for the night of the Burn. My one past experience with DOM was at a dosage level that was slightly too low (7 mg), but I could see that it was a drug of the absolute highest quality, in the same class as LSD, mushrooms, etc.
A little background on my tripping experience...I have shroomed twice, tripped on LSA twice, and ate at least a sheets worth of 'acid' (that is, blotter that is said to be LSD) in about 5 months from September 2006-February 2007.
Back in November, I began looking into the use of LSD. I had tried cannabis, mdma, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, opium, amphetamine, methylphenidate and dex methyl, ketamine, methamphetamine, coke, xanax, ativan and a few more.

I had it decided. I was going to take 15mg of DOM. I had taken this dosage before but with tolerance of only a few days and again the day after. I tripped but it was nowhere near this experience.

Some Backstory The day before I had taken some LSD. It must have been around 200ug, but it turned out to be one of the most amazing trips I've had in some time. It was a spur of the moment trip and turned out to be a really healing experience. Soul cleansing all the way.

"The Spirit of Light and Dark (A Report on DOM) Spring 2007" I recently had the privilege of trying a rare, illegal compound that I acquired through a trusted buddy of mine whom I have known for quite some time now.
I recently experienced an excessively strong DOM trip, and I'd like to contribute to the numerous exhortations to start off with low doses when trying any DOx chemical.
Hey bluelighters! This is my first trip report ever so forgive me if it's not clear enough or my english is not good. I'm a male, 17 years old, about 75Kg. I've done MDMA (11 times), DOC (8 times), Paroxetine, Alprazolam, Diazepam and Delorazepam in the last six months.
I'm just now reaching the very end of my DOM trip and boy was it a far out journey. For the first few hours, I just felt more of a speedy, anxious anticipation as I could feel my energy rise, but not hallucinatory effects. I wanted to move and I felt extremely energised even though I was a bit sluggish before.
DOM is one hell of a drug. I have experience with LSA, LSD, shrooms, Fly Agaric, DXM, Ketamine, DMT, 25B NBOMe, mescaline and DOM. Out of all of those I must say DOM has settled in my heart as something very special to me though I do not actually know what.
