My gf and I stayed in a beautiful, picturesque cabin in the mountains for Halloween weekend. The cabin had glorious high ceilings and massive windows on each side. We started the day off on Saturday morning with meditation and tea.
About 13 months before this trip I was entering one of the toughest times I have gone through in my life. During those 13 months I almost reached the point of taking my own life, fell back into drug/alcohol abuse, suffered with severe mental health issues and barely kept my job.
My Dad has been sober throughout most of his life and for whatever reason, he decided to eat shrooms today. At first, I was taken back by his sudden interest in psychedelics.
Quick background: we live with my mom. My side is very heavily Italian. My mom grew up in Italy. My husband is best described as a southerner(family all in Alabama for 200+ years). He is not a good cook at all. He once burnt ramen. He's been going through a tough time.
