    Summary dose.wiki

EDMC releases serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine with EC50 values approximately 1.4- to 3.7-fold weaker than methylone, suggesting human psychoactive doses in the low-to-mid-hundreds of milligrams. Very limited human data exist; anecdotal reports describe gentler-than-MDMA empathy with ฮฒ-keto-like peripheral stimulation and a quick, fatigue-heavy comedown. Reagent testing is essential as seizures show many samples sold as EDMC actually contain eutylone or N,N-dimethylpentylone.

    Dose Information dose.wiki Drugs.Wiki

Dose basis. Dose ranges are compiled from early user reports and analog comparisons (not clinical data). Inter-individual variability is high; start at the low end and avoid redosing until full onset is assessed. Compare to methylone oral ranges as a rough benchmark only. Cathinone powders are caustic; EDMC is reported to sting and irritate mucosa. Risk of epistaxis and mucosal injury increases with dose and frequency. Volumetric dosing is advised to avoid over-measuring โ€˜fluffyโ€™ powders. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track EDMC there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

⬇ Download import file Import this file as custom substances and you get "EDMC (Substance Search)" with every route's full dose ladder and timeline, no typing. Works on iOS and Android (v15+); the format is confirmed by the app's developer. The manual values below work for older versions.

Note: ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.

Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 160 mg (Oral).

The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.

    Tolerance

Build-up develops rapidly, often within a single session; compulsive redosing common
Reset a few days for acute tolerance

    Tolerance Decay

    Half tolerance 3d Baseline ~10d

Estimates based on user reports for methylone-like cathinones: a single strong session acutely saturates response, with partial recovery over 3โ€“7 days and near-baseline by ~10โ€“14 days if no further use. Cross-tolerance among entactogenic cathinones and MDMA is probable via overlapping transporter mechanisms.
