Summary
Microgram-scale potency requires precise measurement - always use a 0.001 g (1 mg) accurate scale or volumetric dosing. Many NBOMe hospitalizations and fatalities involved misidentified blotters; 2C-B-FLY-NBOMe has a distinctly bitter/metallic taste and oral inactivity when swallowed. Produces stronger peripheral vasoconstriction than parent 2C-B-FLY - cold extremities and limb numbness are common.
Dose Information
Dose basis. Microgram-active; weigh with a 0.001 g (1 mg) scale at minimum and strongly prefer volumetric dosing to reduce dosing error. Some NBOMe materials exist as freebase, HCl salt, or HPBCD complexes with differing solubility/bioavailability; dose-equivalence can vary. Avoid swallowing until after 20β30 minutes if testing blotter; oral (swallowed) activity for NBOMes is generally low but not zero for some salts, so do not assume inactivity. Volumetric dosing guide: dissolve a precisely weighed amount into a known volume of suitable solvent (e.g., high-proof ethanol or propylene glycol, not plain water for poorly water-soluble freebases), label concentration, and measure volume for dosing. Hold between gum and lip for 20β40 min; similar cautions as sublingual. Bitter/metallic taste is commonly reported with NBOMes and is a warning sign if a blotter was sold as LSD. Do not rely on taste aloneβconfirm identity with reagents/UV as available. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track 2C-B-FLY-NBOMe there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 450 Β΅g (Sublingual).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
Tolerance
Tolerance Decay
Acute tolerance: develops within a single session β the reset numbers above apply after sustained heavy use, not after one binge. Within-session tachyphylaxis usually resets largely overnight.
Rapid 5βHT2A desensitization produces short-term tachyphylaxis (hoursβdays). Functional tolerance typically halves within ~1 week and returns to near-baseline by 2β3 weeks; cross-tolerance with other classic psychedelics is expected but not fully quantified.
