NOTE: This post is not a recommendation, it's just anecdotal evidence that only works for me, so take this as an anecdote. My dose is 600mg pregabalin and like 200mg caffeine. Advice Empty stomach: Wait at least 3 hours after tour meal and eat after 2 hours of taking the dose.

Every post about pregabalin i see people are recommending first time users to take 400mg, 600mg, 900mg. Do you want to kill somebody????? There is evidence of people having seizures because of dosing too much or redosing. Guys, start with 150-225mg.

Ive experimented with Lyrica before. The first time I did 300 mg and the second time I did 400, both were fun but, eh, not much to say. This time, I was intent on getting high, and being out of my usual stash of random mind-bending friends, I jumped on that Lyrica. I took a total of 600 mg.
I am prescribed Lyrica/pregabalin for compressed nerves in my back, I have pretty severe pain from time to time. At the recommended doses for me (100mg 2x a day) it is quite helpful for those pains.
I got Lyrica prescribed to me when I got the shingles. However they are now also being issued out as a medication for nerve damage, and in some cases, pain relief.
I have experience both with long-term use, withdrawal and high dosages of this drug. I've been using pregabalin at 600mg/day for 1.5 years now. Any euphoric feelings from this dosage disappears quickly. The anxiolytic effect, however, remains.

I posted this report this morning on several different forums. I think you'll find it interesting. I have horrible chronic pain from arthritis in my neck and chronic headaches.
So this is a fairly mild dose. 205 lbs male @ 5 ft 11. About 335 mg total. I took the inital 255 mg at 1:30 pm before work, and it takes forever to kick in. Work was a very short useless shift today (hardly anyone in the clinic, holidays) and I bumped the other 80 at about 4:45 pm.
I've been taking a modest dose of pregabalin for a while now, ocasionaly taking more to test the waters. This is what i have to say about it. This is just my personal experience. The feeling or headspace of pregabalin is one of psychedelics or dissociatives in addition to that of a benzo type drug.
T = Time of start dosing T+3 = did 300mg of Pregabalin. Going home. Feeling a little bit happier. T+6 = did 300mg of Pregabalin. It made me super hungry, so I eat a lot, but I was on a diet, so.. it kinda balanced out. T+8 = did 150mg of Pregabalin and 20mg of Diazepam. Feeling really nice in my legs and arms.
FINALLY. After years of trying every SSRI, benzos, anti-psychotics, vistaril, tricylic ADs....and every single street drug. I am a recovering heroin addict. I have injected anything i can get my hands on from meth, coke, heroin, to adderall, buprenorphine, and everclear.
Lyrica (pregabalin) - GHB/XTC/UNIQUE - ultimate bliss @ high dosages.. I hope the moderators do not mind, but I am going to repost my observations and information on Lyrica here as well as on the other drugs forum simply because I overlapped my experience with information that I thought It would be useful.
