Summary
Oxycodone (also known under brand names including Roxicodone, OxyContin, Percocet, Oxecta, OxyIR, Endone, Oxynorm, and OxyNEO) is a semi-synthetic opioid synthesized from poppy-derived thebaine. It is a narcotic analgesic within the morphinan chemical class and is generally indicated for relief of moderate to severe pain. It was developed in 1916 in Germany as one of several new semi-synthetic opioids in an attempt to improve on the existing opioids.

As a full-fledged pothead and psychonaut, I am used to experimenting with substances. Altering my consciousness is something that I save for special occasions, however, and before my love affair with percocet I had never really considered trying 'hard' drugs.
First, a little background. I was in a major car accident many years ago that resulted in serious spinal injury. I managed to maintain for several years, but reached the point where surgery was required. Then another surgery, and another.
My fight for my life, when it comes to drugs, started when I was about 12. I told a friend my mom was on percocet and he said it fucks you up and that I should take some. My mother caught me going into her purse and instead of being an adult about it, she gave a few to her 12-year-old son. I hate her for that.

[Erowid Note: Because opiate use can lead to significant tolerance (requiring higher doses for the same effects), the dose used by a first time user is significantly smaller than that used by a regular user. It can be extremely dangerous to choose ones dose on the basis of the amount taken by someone else.

This was set out as a mild experiment for a better understanding of the substance oxycodone but also as a way of achieving a euphoric state of mind, but turned out being more profound then expected.
Background: In the past (a year or two ago) I came upon a bottle of vicodin 5/500s. I absolutely *loved* these things and quickly discovered that 15mg of hydro combined with 2 shots of liquor was the most euphoric thing I had ever experienced.
I have an average amount of experienced with opiates, been taking them about once a week for a few months now, hoping to keep it that way. I know 20mg isn't a ton(I try to keep my dosage low anyways because I'm cheap), but that's part of the reason I decided to share this experience; even though it was only 20mg it was...
I live in the Netherlands, were prescription opioids are extremely hard to come by. It's impossible to fake pain to get strong opioids, and so OxyContins are an exotic treat, like finding a lump of gold.

Oxycodone binge- My second Oxy binge Substance used: Santoz Oxycodone 40mg Experience: 2nd time using I’m from Germany and a pretty bad slob so please excuse the terrible English. I’m male weighing in at 72kg (158,733 lb) and 1.85cm (6‘1‘‘) tall. I bought a blister of Sandoz 40mg Oxycodone with 5 pills.
**WARNING: 280mg of oxycodone is a lethal dose for someone with no tolerance and very dangerous even if you do have tolerance. The poster of this report had most of the effects blocked by suboxone.
