Yesterday I gave myself a fair good wallop in the head with 4HO-DMT, at 30mg. I had decided to use my day off for a trip, which I had been promising myself during my week off, but was unable to do, for various reasons. I got well organised, rising early on a gray autumnal morning.

Summary
4-Hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (also known as 4-HO-DMT, 4-OH-DMT, and psilocin) is a naturally-occurring psychedelic substance of the tryptamine class. Psilocin is the primary psychoactive constituent in certain species of mushrooms, and as a closely related structural analog of the powerful visionary entheogen DMT (also known as N,N-dimethyltryptamine). Psilocin was first isolated and named by Albert Hofmann in 1958.

I was able to procure 100mg of 4-HO-DMT freebase recently. I have had many experiences with mushrooms in the past, and found them to be my favorite drug besides cannabis. The last time I had mushrooms was approximately 7 months ago. I purchased the Psilocin with the intent to push myself to the limits of the drug.
Recently, I was strolling through the park on a crisp winter day, when a sample of synthetic freebase 4-HO-DMT fell from the sky and landed on the hiking path in front of me. Some of the label was in Chinese, for some unknown reason.
By some miracle of god I came into ownership of some synthesized 4-HO-DMT or Psilocin, about ~100mg. Today was set to be the day to try some of my recently extracted and recrystallized psilocin. The crude psilocin was dissolved in heptane:chloroform (3:1 ย 7 ml total volume). I found it difficult to dissolve, but it slowly went into solution.
I bought 250mg of psilocin powder, and dissolved it in vodka in a small bottle with a dropper to enable accurate dosage. My wife & I were attending a festival, so having no previous experience with the substance, we decided to err on the side of caution and had about 15mg each.

I tried shrooms for the first time in the form of tea. I only had a coffee cup full of medium strength, so it was not an intense trip, but beautiful nonetheless. Everything had a slight rainbow-like quality, and I felt very euphoric.
I dug out my vial of 4HO-DMT from the back of my freezer yesterday to provide me with my trip. The vial held about 500mg of the gram I aquired about 3 years ago. I had given about 200mg away, and the rest had been used on vary rare occasions.
This is less a 'trip report' from my end, but more a writing exercise for myself that I will eventually finish as a trip report. I have encouraged my friend to write up his end and I am not sure he ever will...so this is what exists for the time being.
I mainly need to get these thoughts down, and I figured what better place than here? Being quite experienced with taking psilocybin mushrooms, I could never have expected psilocin to affect me the way it did, even though it was my first time with pure psilocin.
So I don't usually write trip reports on bluelight but I believe that some of you may find this interesting, albeit there is not a lot of detail due to such a low dose.
